Portuguese School for Foreigners Caldas da Rainha
Caravela is a school specialized in teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language, located in the center of Caldas da Rainha.
The school offers extensive and intensive group courses and private classes, in face-to-face and online format, for all levels and at different times (morning, afternoon and after work), throughout the year.
Portuguese courses
Extensive Course
The extensive course is an excellent option for those who want to study regularly. The balance between frequency, duration of classes and the break between classes allows you to learn consistently without compromising other activities in life.
The extensive Portuguese course lasts approximately 8 weeks.
Classes take place on Mondays and Thursdays or Tuesdays and Fridays from 10.00 to 12.30, from 14.00 to 16.30 or from 18.30 to 21.00.
It is a 40-hour course, divided into 16 lessons of 2.5 hours each with a 15-minute break. Each group has a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6

Intensive Course
The intensive course is the ideal option for students who want to learn Portuguese in a short time. This is because it allows you to learn all the topics of the extensive courses in just two or three weeks. Therefore, it is especially recommended for students who have a lot of free time and want to invest it in the Portuguese language.
The intensive course lasts 2 to 3 weeks. It starts on Monday and ends on Saturday of the second week.
Classes take place from Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 6 pm, with a 15-minute break.
It is a 40-hour course, divided into 10 classes of 4 hours each.
Each group has a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6.

Private Lessons
These classes are prepared in order to respond to the needs of each student, whatever their objective. As in group classes, individual courses develop all communicative and linguistic skills.
In addition, they have the advantage of allowing maximum interaction between the student and the teacher and the student being able to choose the time, frequency and rhythm. You can also choose the location: in person or online.
