Olá! Today we will talk about some of the activities we are offering this summer after the classes in Caravela School.
Treasure hunt in Caldas da Rainha
If you just arrived and you want to know more about our beautiful city, you can’t miss this. In this activity you’ll have a list of puzzles and quizzes. For sure, in order to solve them and find the treasure, you will need to use a secret weapon: the Portuguese language!
In a small group, you will meet the most interesting places in our city and know more about them.

Water Sports in Foz do Arelho
Do you know that only 15 minutes from Caravela School you can find a beach with ocean and a lagoon? Can you imagine the variety of water sports we can try there? For example, kayaking, windsurf, catamaran, kitesurf, paddle and surf are some of them. How about get some exercise after lessons?
Language Tour in Óbidos
Just 10 minutes from our school we can find this medieval village. In this amazing place you reach find the ideal atmosphere to keep practicing your Portuguese language. If you like to take photos, you’ll not stop to shoot there…
Seminar – Wines from Portugal in Caravela School
Portugal is a wine country, where the diversity is huge. But do you know the difference between them? In this interactive seminar you will learn everything you need to know about them. You will also have the opportunity to taste some of them.
Thereafter, next time you go to the supermarket you will not need to think twice before you choose the ideal wine for you.

A day in the island
The Berlengas archipelago has three islands (Berlenga Grande, Estelas and Farilhões) but only one (Berlenga Grande) has human occupation. However this occupation is still quite reduced. In addition, this wild paradise has some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal.
In order to get there, firstly we have to go to Peniche (30 minutes from Caravela School). Then we have to take a small boat and navigate for 20-40 minutes, depending on the boat and the ocean’s conditions.

Despite these are the activities we have planned for this summer, there is much more you can do during your stay in our city.
Thanks to the great location of Caldas da Rainha, you can easily visit other places, like Peniche (30 minutes from school), Nazaré (30 minutes) and Lisbon (60 minutes). If you desire to visit them, just let us know and we will be glad to drive you is your experience.
